CM chairs review meetings

Chief minister N Biren, on Thursday, chaired two review meetings aimed at enhancing infrastructure and improving ser vice delivery in the state.
The meetings, held at the CM's secretariat, focused on strategies to strengthen power infrastructure and improve the functioning of cooperative societies.
In the first meeting, the CM met with officials from Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL), Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL), and Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency (MANIREDA) and discussed on enhancing the state's power infrastructure, improving service delivery, and fostering cooperative frameworks.
He highlighted the importance of these initiatives in better serving the communities across Manipur, emphasising the need for a reliable and efficient power supply to support the state's development goals.
In a subsequent meeting with the department of cooperation, Biren discussed strategies to enhance the performance of cooperative societies.
The review meeting focused on streamlining processes and ensuring that the benefits of cooperative policies reach the grassroots level effectively.
The CM underscored the critical role that cooperative societies play in the state's economy and stressed the need for improved efficiency and accountability to maximise their impact.
