Ukhrul holds career guidance programme

Ukhrul, March 29 2025:
Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd in collaboration with the district administration of Ukhrul conducted an employment-linked career guidance programme at the DRDA hall, Mini Secretariat, Ukhrul on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Ukhrul DC Asish Das who is also chairman of District Skill Committee, encouraged the students to seize the opportunity and become part of the Skill India Mission, stating the Government of India is focusing on making India the 'world skills capital'.
Rubaru Mr India Songashim Rungsung also joined the programme and inspired the youth with a short speech.
Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd operations manager (India & International) Anirban Mukherjee, briefed the trainees regarding skill training and employment opportunities worldwide for educated unemployed youth.
"Let's get skilled and make the jobs chase us," he stated, adding that to become employed, one needs to be employable.
Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd is affiliated and accredited under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, National Skill Development Corporation, and Skill India International.
It has successfully placed over 2 lakh youth globally in various luxury five-star hotels, cruises, airlines, and airports.
Currently, it is skilling and recruiting youth from Manipur at its training centre located at Mantripukhri, Imphal.
At present, Emporium is hiring skilled youth for 22 countries around the world.
Around 350 candidates from different academic backgrounds, along with faculty and teachers from various institutions, schools, and colleges, as well as officials from Ukhrul, participated in the programme.
