Power shutdown announced in several areas

Imphal, September 27 2026: Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has announced a series of planned power shutdowns in Imphal West and Imphal East for stringing of covered conductors and reconductoring works.

As per MSPDCL, power supply from 11KV Malom Feeder of 33/11KV Sangaiprou Sub-Station will remain shut on September 28 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm .

Affected areas are Meitram and Malom Makha.

Power supply from 11KV Tera Feeder of the same substation will be shut on September 29 and October 1 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for similar works.

Affected area is Takyel Khongbal Mamang.

Separately, consumers fed by Tiddim-1 feeder from Yurembam Sub-Station covering Maklang, Kachikhul, Karong, Sangaithel, Sairemkhul, Tairenpokpi and adjoining localities will have no power on September 28, 29 and 30 from 9.30 am to 5 pm .

There will also be a partial shutdown of 11KV Wangkhei-I feeder from 132/33/11KV Kongba SubStation on September 28 from 8 am to 4 pm.

The affected areas are Kshetri Bengoon Mayai Leikai and Makha Leikai.

MSPDCL has requested consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
