Imphal, August 27 2026: The Arts Society, Manipur, organised a special painting exhibition featuring products of Khoupum Art Camp and special workshop for painting at Manipur State Art Gallery, Palace Compound.

36 artists exhibited their paintings at the exhibition.

Nambol AC MLA Thounaojam Basanta Kumar, former president of Arts Society, Manipur, Aribam Joychandra Sharma, and president of Arts Society Dr Ksh Jugindro attended as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

Many distinguished persons and artists also attended.

Speaking at the event, Basanta Kumar said art exhibitions reflect the relation between artist and society, every painting has a message and reflects the artist's vision.

He said the paintings exhibited were created during the 2019 art camp at Khoupum and showcasing local beauty will foster love among people.
