Bisnupur, November 26 2024: In its continuous efforts to assist local communities and to promote health and fitness, Army constructed an Open Air Gymnasium under 'Operation Sadbhavana' and dedicated it to the residents on November 26 at Phougakchao Ikhai Maning Leikai, Bishnupur district.

The community facility will provide an accessible infrastructure fulfilling the long-standing demands of the villagers, said a release issued by PIB(Defence Wing) .

The inauguration ceremony was attended by around 150 villagers including the village Chief of Phougakchao Ikhai along with Chiefs of adjacent villages and members of the community, said PIB.

The new gymnasium is equipped with modem outdoor fitness equipment, including an air walker, double elliptical trainer, two single chest press machines, two single shoulder press machines, a sit-up trainer, arms and various other equipment, added the PIB.
