Jiribam, October 19 2026: Dett-48 Bn CRPF, Jiribam, organised a civic action programme with the aim of promoting skill development, self-employment and sustainable livelihood opportunities among the local population and internally displaced people of Borobekra.

The programme was organised under the guidance of the Inspector General, CRPF, Manipur Sector, and the leadership of Tashi Gyalik, Commandant, Dett-48 Bn CRPF, said a press note by CRPF.

Under this initiative, plumber training programme was held from October 10 till 18 and kits were distributed to beneficiaries, internally displaced persons of Jakuradhar relief camp, Borobekra, Jiribam and villagers from Lakhipur village to enhance their skill and to explore opportunities for self-employment and sustainable income generation.

The programme was attended by Tashi Gyalik, Commandant, Dett-48 Bn CRPF, along with other officers and personnel of the Battalion.
