Imphal, April 18 2024:
A written complaint has been registered at Lilong police station, requesting action against BJP Minority Morcha Manipur Pradesh president Makakmayum Asker alias Mk Atif Asker for allegedly posting derogatory remarks on social media (Facebook) against one Md Ayajuddin.
Addressing media persons at Lilong Bazar on Thursday, Md Ayajuddin (35) s/o Najir Ali of Lilong bazar, said that he is an auto driver living a decent life.
On April 15, organisers of an election rally attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, hired his vehicle for transporting people to the rally venue at Hapta Kangjeibung, where he was interviewed by a reporter, asking who he would vote for in the upcoming Lok Sabha election to which he replied that to vote for the Congress party.
He further informed that the next day, BJP Minority Morcha Manipur Pradesh president Makakmayum Asker posted on Facebook along with a video clip of the interview captioned "Person coming to lift vehicles interviewed!" .
The post which seemed to mock his presence at the rally, is a direct insult to him and could tarnish his image, Ayauddin expressed, adding that the said post hurt his sentiment, apart from causing fear and possible public scrutiny.
Subsequent to the post, he has not been able to move out of his house fearing public discrimination, Md Ayajuddin said and urged authority concerned to take up necessary actions against Makakmayum Asker since he (Md Ayajuddin) has been charged and blamed in the most ridiculous manner, Ayajuddin added.
