STFM holds 3rd Extension Talk Series

Imphal, June 17 2026: As part of its Golden Jubilee Year celebrations, the Science Teachers' Forum, Manipur (STFM) organised its 3rd Extension Talk Series today at CC Higher Secondary School under the focal theme "Impairment of Scientific Temper to the Students for Viksit Bharat @2047".Former Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University, Prof H Nandakumar Sharma, delivered a talk on "From Newton to Einstein and After", tracing the evolution of scientific thought.

Dr Ch Indira Devi, Lecturer at Johnstone Higher Secondary School and STFM life member, conducted "Hands-on-Science" experiments with students and held interactive sessions.

A spot quiz was also organised to gauge students' learning.

STFM general secretary Kshetrimayum Sanahal Singh said the Golden Jubilee falls on September 5.The talk series is part of the year-long celebration.

The 1 st talk was held on May 15 at Wangkhei High School and the 2nd at Khuman Maheikol, Mayang Imphal.

Principal Kh Memtonbi Devi, State Teachers' Awardee, and STFM president Ng Kesho Singh attended as guest of honour and president, respectively.
