Imphal, February 17 2026: The Commandant of 66 Bn CRPF Sh Anup Kumar Sahu inaugurated the newly constructed flag hoisting area at 'B' Coy, 14 (M) NCC Unit, Modem College, Imphal today.

As per a statement, the facility was constructed under the Civic Action Programme with the objective of promoting patriotism, discipline, and civic responsibility among students, especially NCC cadets.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officers of Central Reserve Police Force, personnel of 66 Bn CRPF, along with civil authorities, college faculty, NCC staff, and a large number of students.

Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant emphasized the importance of nurturing National values and leadership qualities among youth and highlighted the role of the CRPF in community welfare and nation-building initiatives.

The newly constructed Flag Hoisting Area will serve as a permanent platform for conducting ceremonial events, national celebrations, and NCC activities within the college campus.

The college authorities expressed their sincere appreciation to the CRPF .

The programme concluded with a ceremonial flag hoisting and interaction with students.
