19th Fortnight Barrier Free Campaign launched

Imphal, October 16 2026: The 19th Fortnight Barrier Free Campaign organised by Handicapped Development Foundation, Manipur was launched today at the Directorate of Tourism office, North AOC, Imphal West under the theme "Accessible Today, Inclusive Tomorrow".

The 15-day campaign was launched in the presence of Senior Officer (Tourism), Government of Manipur Khuraijam Amarjit as chief guest and Managing Director of Handicapped Development Foundation Dr Sapam Jasowant as president.

Speaking on the occasion, Kh Amarjit said the foundation has been organising the campaign for persons with disabilities and appealed to the public to support it.

He assured that the Tourism Department will extend support to persons with disabilities in tourism events.

Dr Sapam Jasowant appealed to the public to cooperate and support persons with disabilities who will be visiting during the campaign period.
