Live auditions for NE Star Ultimate Music Talent Hunt held

Imphal, September 15 2026: Live auditions for NE Star Ultimate Music Talent Hunt, powered by Toyota and managed by Unitex Inc, were held today at XL Cafe & Billiards, Thangal Bazaar, Imphal.

The event, affiliated with the Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS), aims to bring together top musical talents from across the North East.

The programme began with a welcome address by host Soreichon Horam, followed by felicitation of guests.

A keynote speech was delivered by Tomohiro Suzumura (TKM, GHY) .

The live auditions were conducted for around two hours featuring the best vocal and musical performers from the region.

Two participants will be shortlisted from die State to compete in the Grand Finale.

Similar selections will be done in other North Eastern States.

Results of the shortlisted participants will be announced on September 16 via the official NE Star Instagram page.

The Grand Finale will be held on September 27 in Guwahati.
