CM honours veteran soldiers

Imphal, January 13 2025:
On the eve of Armed Forces Veterans' Day, chief minister N Biren hosted an "At Home Function" at his secretariat, recognising the contributions of the Armed Forces to the nation.
The event aimed at honouring the dedication and sacrifices of those who have served in India s armed forces, safeguarding the country's sovereignty and integrity.
In a post on X, CM Biren expressed his deep appreciation for the armed forces, saying, "I deeply appreciate the spirit of our Armed Forces and their contributions to our Nation" .

He emphasised the significance of the day, which serves as a tribute to the courageous men and women who have devoted their lives to protecting the nation.
The CM also highlighted the importance of reaffirming the state's commitment to supporting veterans, adding, "Let this gathering remind us of the indomitable spirit of our Armed Forces and a reaffirmation of our commitment to supporting those who have served our Nation" .
The function brought together armed forces veterans, Veer Naris, and other dignitaries, reinforcing the collective gratitude and respect for the sacrifices made by India's military personnel.
