Dr Khangembam Khoni bags MLRC Award 2025

Imphal, October 12 2025: Manipuri Library and Research Centre (MLRC), Bangladesh conferred the MLRC Award 2025 to Dr Khangembam Khoni, a Manipuri dance exponent, for her contribution in the field of Manipuri dance on October 11 .

The award was presented during the 6th foundation day observation of MLRC organised on October 11 and 12 at the Manipuri Cultural Complex, Tataigaon, Bangladesh.

On the occasion, Dr Khangembam Khoni and her team from Manipur conducted a Manipuri Jagoi Workshop wherein Meitei girls from Bangladesh participated.

The programme ended with a cultural programme by Dr Khoni and her team along with Meitei participants from Bangladesh.
