Koireng-led UNLF celebrates MPA Raising Day

Imphal, February 09 2025: The Koireng-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) led by Koireng reportedly celebrated the 38th Raising Day of its military wing - Manipur People's Army (MPA) on Sunday.

According to a Koireng-led UNLF statement issued by publicity secretary M Shak-Hen, the 38th Raising Day was celebrated at many places in Manipur and outside.

Commemorative events were held at Front's central headquarters (CHQ), MPA GHQ, training centre, tactical headquarters (THQ), external & regional affairs headquarters (ERA HQ) in foreign country, LAKSA, KANGLEI, party's district headquarters and at many units of the party together with the people.

Observance of two-minute silence in honour of martyred revolutionaries, floral tributes and reading out of the message of Central Committee's Military Affairs Committee (MAC) were highlights of the celebration at all the venues.

Revolutionaries of other groups fighting to restore the lost sovereignty of Manipur and standing firm against suppressive policies of India also took part the celebration, said the statement, while conveying gratitude to all who extended support and helped in making the celebration successful.
