Kakching, December 08 2025: A book titled "Sikshya Amasung Tambibagi Kangion" (Education and Pedagogy), authored by Birmangol Naorem, retired principal of DIET Kakching was released today during a function held at Kakching Ashram in Kakching Chumnang Leikai.

The book release programme was attended by president of Writers' Association Kakching, Nimai Pukhrambam; retd headmaster Moirangthem Nabakishwar; and president of Divya Jivan Seva Sangga, Kakching, Dr Nongmaithem Nabakishwar, who served as presidium members.

Published by M/S Inat Publication, Kakching, the book comprises five parts spanning a total of 193 pages.

Part I deals with 'Education and its Meaning', Pt II focuses on 'Child Psychology', Pt III highlights 'School Organisation, Curriculum and its Meaning', while Pt IV and V cover 'Science of Teaching' and 'Lesson Plans' respectively.

Speaking at the occasion, author Birmangal Naorem stressed the importance of training teachers in effective training methods and in nurturing the students' desire to learn.

He expressed confidence that the book would be immensely beneficial to teachers.
