Imphal, May 07 2026: The Indian Army's Red Shield Division under Spear Corps commemorated the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor with an out-reach programme at Manipur University on Thursday.

The event was held for students and faculty of the Department of National Security Studies to build awareness of the Army's unwavering resolve against terrorism and its commitment to national sovereignty.

The programme began with an interactive session where Army officers revisited the objectives of Op Sindoor and explained key operational aspects.

Awareness activities and discussions were held on information warfare and the role of "responsible information warriors" in protecting national interests.

The session saw enthusiastic participation, insightful queries and meaningful exchanges.

The event reinforced a sense of responsibility and strategic awareness among participants and strengthened the Army-academic interface.
