Meritorious students of Ram Lal Paul Hr Sec School feted

Students of Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School, Keishamthong, who secured high marks in the BSEM and COHSEM-conducted examinations in 2024 along with 1982 metric alumni of the school, were honoured in a felicitation function organised by the school authority on Saturday.
A total of 20 students including 17 first divisioners of the COHSEM-conducted Higher Secondary Examination-2024 and three first divisioners of the BSEM-conducted High School Leaving Certificate Examinatin - 2024 were encouraged by presenting cash and simple gifts at the event.
Former student of the school and Lok Sabha MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, who attended the event, said tht many students of Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School are holding high posts in many government departments and private institutions.
He said that students of the school continue to shine since the early period of its establishment and this is due to unique characteristic of the students like high discipline and their respect for teachers.
According to Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, an educational institution will be good when students and teachers of the school have good relation and work together.
He said that educational knowledge alone cannot make a person successful in life but requires the abillity to think rationally.
Apart from this, students should have indepth knowledge on issues confronting the land and the society and discussed the same, he said, adding that acquiring indepth knowledge of happenings around the world would be helpful to students in their future career and in life.
The event was also attended by Manipur High Court judge justice A Guneshwar Sharma as chief guest, Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School principal Haobam Padmini as president and school vice president Sunita Laisom as guest of honour.
