Governor asks NHIDCL officials to expedite NH projects

Imphal, March 05 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla chaired a meeting on Wednesday at Raj Bhavan and comprehensively reviewed the progress of ongoing national highway projects in the state.

During the meeting, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) executive director M S Deval provided a detailed briefing on the current status of various national highway projects under construction in different parts of Manipur, a release by PRO Raj Bhavan informed.

The release continued that Deval also highlighted key challenges affecting project execution.

The Governor directed the officials to implement necessary measures to address these challenges and ensure timely completion of the projects.

CRPFIG Rajendra Narayan Das, Additional PCCF and Manipur Land Resources Department secretary also attended the meeting.

The release further informed that members of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Senapati District Branch called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.

The members apprised the Governor of the key challenges they face while carrying out their humanitarian duties in the region.

The Governor appreciated the members for their dedicated humanitarian efforts and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
