Distinguished Lecture Series organised at MIMS, MU

The Manipur Institute of Management Studies (MIMS), Manipur University, Canchipur organised a Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) on the theme "India's Strategic Partnership in the East" on November4.According to a press release.
the event was held as part of the outreach initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs.
More than 150 students attended the lecture.
The session was graced by Professor Dr Jitendra Nath Misra, retired member of the Indian Foreign Service, who served as Ambassador to Portugal and Laos, and Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, as the chief guest and guest speaker.
Distinguished attendees included Professor GP Prasain, former Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University and Head, Department of Commerce, MU; Professor Memcha Loitongbam, Dean, School of Social Sciences, Manipur University; Professor Laishram Prabhakar Singh, Director, MIMS, Manipur University; and T Shantikumar Singh, Controller of Examinations, MU.
The programme began with a welcome address by Dr Sorokhaibam Keshorjit Singh, who emphasised the importance of understanding India's strategic partnerships in shaping regional stability and growth.
The event was hosted by Dr Jibon Kumar Sharma, convener of the DLS, along with Dr Chetna, faculty member of MIMS, as co-host.
