Indian Army inaugurates toilet block at Kangpokpi

Imphal, March 04 2025: The Indian Army constructed a Toilet and Bathroom block in the Khunkhu village school in Kangpokpi district of Manipur as a significant step towards improving hygiene & sanitation conditions.

According to a release issued by the PRO (Defence Wing), the much-needed facility has been constructed under the Operation Sadbhavana programme to improve basic infrastructure and provide good hygiene and sanitation facilities for both girls and boys of the school.

The block was inaugurated and dedicated to the villagers on Monday in a simple function attended by the village council, school authorities, ex-servicemen, and villagers.

The village council and school authorities expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army for provisioning the infrastructure.
