Free health camp benefits 200 at Thoubal

Thoubal, July 03 2026: A one-day free health camp was organised at "Eikhoigi Yumjao", an old age home run by Lamjingba, Khangabok, in collaboration with Primary Health Centre (PHC), Wangjing Lamding, at Khangabok Part-III Lamdaibung on Friday.

The camp was conducted under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.

Thoubal, with two doctors from PHC Wangjing Lamding providing free medical consultations and treatment to around 200 beneficiaries.

Free medicines were distributed to the patients, while blood testing facilities were also provided during the camp.

Speaking on the occasion, Lamjingba founder Moirangthem Ingocha said the health camp was organised in response to the needs of senior citizens residing at the old age home.

He informed that similar health camps are planned to be held three times a month in the future and that the organisation also intends to extend the initiative to its Waithou branch.
