Kakching, August 01 2025: A 45-day intensive workshop on Manipuri Classical Dance for young artists cum production of Nitya Raas organised by the Kunjalata Dance Performing and Research Centre, Kakching Wairi under the Repertory Grant Scheme of Ministry of Culture, Govt of India concluded today.

The valedictory function held at Shri Shri Nityainanda Mandir, Kakching Wairi Senapati Leikai was attended by State awardee and visiting Guru of JN Manipur Dance Academy Imphal, Brajabashimayaum Gopal Sharma as chief guest; Scholar Ksh Brajamohon as president; and State awardee, visiting Guru JN Manipur Dance Academy Imphal, Lukram Manglembi as guest of honour.

The closing ceremony featured captivating cultural performances of Chali Jagoi (Group Dance), Gouranga Nartan (Classical Solo Dance), Nupa Pala and Nitya Ras, which enthralled the audience.

Altogether, 50 artists who took part in the workshop programme were felicitated with certificates of recognition by the organisers, acknowledging their commitment and dedication.
