Month-long 86th Nupi Lan observance concludes

Imphal, December 30 2025: The month-long observation of 86th Nupi Lan came to a close today at Hijam Irabot Memorial Complex located at Pishumthong Oinam Leikai.

The event was jointly organised by the 86th Nupi Lan Observation Committee and All Manipur Nupi Marup.

The closing ceremony was attended by S Sorojini, president, AMNM; L Sumatibala, vice-president, AMNM; Ningthoujam Manihar, vice-president, United Pioneers Club and Oinam Sakhi, representative of AMNM and Keishamthong Area Committee as the presidium members.

The gathering offered floral tributes before the bust of Hijam Irabot and paid their respects to the brave women warriors who led and took part in the Nupi Lan.

A 2-minute silence was also observed.
