Imphal, September 29 2025: Thongju Block Congress Committee in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer Imphal East successfully conducted Free Medical Camps at two different locations in Imphal East district today.

The medical camps were organised under the supervision of social worker Seram Nekan at Panthoibi Shanglen Community Hall, Kongba Kshetri Leikai and Uchekon Muriba Community Hall.

Free medical consultations in specialties such as Medicine, Eye and Dermatology along with medicines were provided to the public during the camp.

The camp was conducted with the support of local clubs and Indian Red Cross Society, Imphal East District Branch.

Moreover, a 1-day "Cancer care awareness, cancer prevention vaccination & free health camp" was conducted at Pureirombam Youth Club Community Hall in Bamon Kampu Mayai Leikai on September 27.The camp was jointly organised by the Gender & Social Development Coordinating Committee, Bamon Kampu Apunba VLF, Kongba Nongthombam Leikai VLF, Ibudhou Pureiromba Khubhamlen Ahanba Bamon Kampu and Bupisingtagi Hotnajamal VLF .

The camp was conducted under the aegis of Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Imphal and CMO Imphal East.
