Governor, MLAs, bodies extend Cheiraoba, Eid-Ul-Fitr wishes

Governor, Manipur Legislative Assembly members and several bodies extended Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr greetings to the people of Manipur.
In his message, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhal-la extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba) - the Manipuri New Year's Day, 2025 .
"As we embrace the dawn of the New Year, let it be a moment of celebration, reflection, and renewed hope for a brighter future.
This auspicious day offers us the chance to welcome new beginnings, set inspiring resolutions, and work collectively towards nurturing peace and harmony within our cherished state," he said.
On this special occasion, he urged everyone to reaffirm their dedication to the ideals of unity, love, and progress for a brighter future.
In separate messages, Manipur Legislative Assembly speaker Th Satyabrata Singh, Singjamei A/C MLA Yumnam Khemchand Singh and Patsoi A/C MLA Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh (Keba) extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr.
They wished for abundant happiness, good health and prosperity and prayed for a lasting peace, progress and development.
Similarly, in separate releases United Committee Manipur, Indigenous People's Organisation Manipur, Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), Manipur Youth and Students' Union (MYSU), Manipur People's Front and Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba (WAMA) wished the people on the occasion of Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr.
They prayed for peace, prosperity, unity, integrity, communal harmony and further wished for restoration of peace and normalcy in the state.
