Imphal, June 28 2025: The 11th Dr Thingnam Kishan Memorial Lecture was conducted today at Imphal Public Library, Uripok Sorbon Thingel.

The event was organised by the Dr Thingnam Kishan Foundation (DTKF) to honour the memory and contributions of the late Dr Thingnam Kishan.

The memorial lecture was chaired by Soyam Lokendrajit Singh, retired Professor and former Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University.

Renowned archaeologist Okram Kumar Singh delivered a lecture on the topic, "Archaeology as a source of understanding the culture of Manipur".

Homen Thangjam, Professor, IGNTU and trustee member of DTKF; Michael Singh Samjetsabam, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, DM College of Arts; and Chabungbam Babina Devi, researcher and dancer, were also present at the event.
