Ensure smooth conduct of Class X pre board exams: AMRPSWA to State Govt

Imphal, November 26 2024: All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has urged the State Government to exempt schools from curfews and appealed against imposition of bandhs, blockades or general strikes to ensure the smooth conduct of Class X preboard exams which is set to begin from December 2.A press release issued by AMRPSWA has pointed out that as per the academic calendar issued by the Manipur Government, annual examinations for students of both Government and private schools are slated to begin from December 2.However, the repeated and prolonged closure of schools by the Government has raised apprehensions of causing harm to the academic career of students.

Stating that the education sector always bears the brunt of any unrest in the State, the AMRPSWA has urged the relevant authority to ensure that academic institutions are spared from such disturbances.
