MLA LADF utilised judiciously: Karam Shyam

While claiming that Langthabal AC produced maximum number of entrepreneurs among 60 assembly segments of the state in the last five years, Langthabal MLA Karam Shyam has said it would be unfair to play petty politics by concealing development works he had done in the past 10 years from government schemes, Local Area Development Fund and even from his pocket money along with humanitarian service.
Karam Shyam stated this on the sidelines of inspection of development works he initiated in the past 10 years at different places of Langthabal AC along with representatives of Development Committee Langthabal Sunday.
He along with representatives of Development Committees in spected roads, eco-tourism parks, community halls, club buildings, extension works, retaining wall and others with Development Committees of 40 Polling Stations of AC.
Speaking to media persons, Karam Shyam asserted that he had done many development works in Langthabal AC as representative of the people but some people raised question rather than physically witnessing development works.
Numerous development works could be taken up if development funds released by the government are utilised sincerely, he said and expressed his desire to take up development works together with humanitarian service.
He also claimed utilising cent percent of fund released under his Local Area Development Fund for the welfare of the people since the past 10 years by handing over the entire fund to Development Committee Langthabal.
While strongly condemning the killing of Athuan Abonmai on behalf of the people of Langthabal AC, Karam Shyam said the late Zeliangrong leader worked whole heartedly for peaceful coexistence of valley and hill people and a united Manipur.
He also prayed for Athuan Abonmai's soul to rest in peace in heavenly abode.
