Imphal, March 26 2026: A three-day national seminar on "Physical Principles in Biology & Medical Sciences (PPBMS-2026): Foundation & Frontiers" commenced today at the conference hall of S Kula Women's College, Nambol.

The seminar is being organised by the Departments of Physics and Biotechnology of die college, under the funding of Department of Biotechnology and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, to explore interdisciplinary applications of physical principles in biological, and medical sciences.

The inaugural session was graced by Principal of CI College, Bishnupur, Prof RK Rajeshwori Devias chief guest, while Principal of S Kula Women's College, Nambol, Dr RK Lokendra presided over the function.

Dr Th Ranjan Singh; and PPBMS convenor and Asst Professor, Hept of Physics, Dr A Joy attended the programme as guests of honour.
