Tributes paid to slain CRPF soldier on 36th death anniversary

Kakching, April 25 2026:
The 36th death anniversary of martyr CT/GD Md Abdullah of 07 Bn, CRPF was organised today at his hometown in Kakching.
The memorial event was organised by 109 Bn, CRPF, Mongsangei, Imphal West, according to a statement.
CT/GD Md Abdullah was martyred on April 25, 1990 .
During the programme, Tara Devi Yadav, Second-In-Command, 109 Bn, paid homage to the martyr.
The programme was organized in the presence of 109 Bn CRPF personnel, Najimuddin- Zila Parishad Member; Md Rafi, Village Head, the martyr's family members and villagers of his home town.
While addressing the gathering, Tara Devi Yadav said that the 36th death anniversary was organised to pay tribute to a brave son of the motherland who laid down his life for the sake of the Nation and its people.
Stating that the martyr's selfless act will always be remembered and cherished, she noted his unwavering commitment to the Nation's values and principles.
While saluting his bravery and sacrifice, she also offered heartfelt condolences to the martyrs' family.
Concluding her speech, she thanked each and everyone who contributed to make the program possible and presented gifts to the next of kin (NOK) of the martyr.
