AR enhances educational infrastructure in Chandel under Op Sadbhavana

Chandel, February 25 2026: Assam Rifles, under its flagship initiative Operation Sadbhavana, organised the distribution of essential educational infrastructure items at D Zalenbung High School, Chandel District on Wednesday.

A contingent of officials and troops from the force handed over desks, benches and other classroom furniture to the school authorities, aimed at strengthening the existing academic facilities and creating a more conducive learning environment for students.

According to IGAR (South) in a release, the programme drew enthusiastic participation from the local community, with nearly 200 villagers joining school staff and students to witness the occasion.

Their presence underscored the spirit of cooperation and goodwill between the force and the people of the region.

The interaction during the event provided an opportunity to reinforce trust and understanding, while also highlighting the importance of educational support in remote and underserved areas of Manipur.
