Thoubal, September 20 2025: A one-day financial literacy camp cum credit linkage programme was organised at Athokpam Awang Leikai Community Hall in Thoubal district as part of the Three-Month Saturation Campaign On Financial Inclusion Schemes at Gram Panchayat Level.

The camp was held under the aegis of the Department of Financial Services, India, and organised by Manipur State Co-operative Bank Limited Thoubal District Branch.

It witnessed the attendance of Manipur State Co Operative Bank Ltd president P Ranjit, vice president Y Subhashchandra, DGM (loan) A Trakeswori Devi and manager M Rameswor as presidium members.

During the camp, the gathering were educated about the dos and don'ts and benefits provided by banks regarding PMJDY account opening, PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY, Re-KYC, digital fraud prevention and unclaimed deposits.

Sanction letters for loans amounting to Rs 16.48 lakhs were also handed over to selected loanees.
