Assam Rifles conducts medical camp

Bishnupur, June 20 2024:
Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), conducted a medical camp at Village Tuiring Phaisen (Dampi Area), Churachandpur district.
The camp aimed to provide medical aid to the underprivileged inhabitants of remote villages amidst the ongoing crisis.
A total of 108 villagers benefitted from the camp, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.
Doctors from Assam Rifles consulted, examined, and provided necessary medications to the patients.
The camp also focused on educating the villagers about environmental hygiene, sanitation, and the prevention of lifestyle diseases and contagious diseases.
Health and dietary counselling were also provided for a disease-free family and society.
This initiative is a continuation of Assam Rifles' efforts to enhance mutual trust, harmony, and peaceful association with the local populace.
