AR holds recruitment mock tests for youth

Imphal, August 18 2026: Assam Rifles conducted comprehensive mock physical and written tests for aspirants preparing for the forthcoming Territorial Army Recruitment Rally at Moreh in Tengnoupal District on Tuesday.

A total of 34 local youth participated in the structured evaluation.

As per a release issued by HQ IGAR(S), the exercise aimed to assess candidate readiness, build confidence and familiarise them with the competitive standards of the actual selection process.

The mock test provided realistic simulation covering essential physical fitness benchmarks and academic examination parameters.

The initiative is part of a sustained mentoring drive launched by Assam Rifles in April this year to coach local youth for SSC GD, Territorial Army and Agniveer recruitment rallies.

The programme focuses on improving physical endurance, academic proficiency, exam preparedness and mental resilience under selection-oriented conditions.

After the evaluation, candidates received individual feedback and performancebased guidance to identify shortcomings, refine their preparation strategy and improve time management skills.

Assam Rifles encouraged all aspirants to appear for the upcoming recruitment with determination and a positive spirit, and reaffirmed its commitment to guiding youth of the region towards careers in the Armed Forces.
