Salaai Kanba Lup leadership camp concludes

Thoubal, August 17 2026: The three-day Residential Leadership Training Camp organised by the Salaai Kanba Lup (SKL) as part of its Summer Session concluded at Sabantongba Modern High School on Monday.

Held under the theme "Responsible Leadership for a Responsible Future", the camp brought together around 50 participants from various units of the Salaai Kanba Lup.

During the camp, resource persons held interactive sessions on the changing socio-political situation in Manipur and developments around the world.

Topics including the National Register of Citizens (NRC), demand for Scheduled Tribe status, internal conflicts, the role of leaders and human rights were discussed.

The sessions were aimed at enhancing participants' understanding of contemporary issues and encouraging responsible leadership among the youth.
