Sanatan Dharma Sewa Samiti mourns demise of Pt Badrisaran

Sanatan Dharma Sewa Samiti, Charhajare, has expressed profound sorrow and condolence over the demise of Pt Badrisaran Khatiwada.
To mourn the tragic demise, a special condolence meeting was convened by the Sanatan Dharma Sewa Samiti, presided over by Dr Tankanath Sharma Khatiwara.
As per a release issued by Sanatan Dharma Sewa Samiti, Late Pt Badrisaran was bom on July 26, 1935 at Santolabari.
He was very talented from his childhood.
As there were no schools in the area, he learned the basic alphabet, Durga Saptasati Chandi, Shreemad Bhagwat Geeta at home.
Later, he went to Varanasi for his studies.
Apart from performing many Yaggya, Puranas, Naam Sankirtan, Bhajanas for the upliftment of the society, he reopened the Dharmodaya Ved Vidyalaya, Santolabari, which was established in 1945.In 1978, he established Sanatan Sanskrit Vidyalaya in Charhajare to provide Sanskirt education to the people of Charhajare and nearby areas, irrespective of caste or community.
He also made many significant reformations such as the abolition of the practice of sacrificing animals in Nepali Temples and the introduction of Kumari Dikshya.
