Imphal, October 15 2026: The Red Run 4.0, organised by the Manipur State AIDS Control Society to promote HIV and AIDS awareness in Manipur, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 17, has been postponed to Monday, October 19 .

The 10-Km RED RUN 4.0 aims to bring people together through sports and collective action to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS, promote healthy behaviours, and encourage a society free from stigma and discrimination, said the Manipur State AIDS Control Society.

Bib distribution for all registered participants will take place at RD Wing Lamphelpat on Saturday October 17 from 11 am to 1 pm.

The decision to postpone the run has been taken to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the event.

All participants may report at the Kangla Western Gate at 5.30 am October 19.The run will be flagged off at 6 am, it said.

Two male and female winners of the run will participate at the National Red Run to be held on November 3 at Patna, Bihar.
