AR conducts skill workshop on vehicle repair at Chandel

Chandel, February 15 2025: In a bid to empower local youth and promote self-sufficiency, Assam Rifles conducted a skill workshop on vehicle repair for 15 village youths at Joupi in Khengjoi Sub-Division, Chandel.

According to a press release issued by IGAR (S), the workshop aimed to equip the participants with essential skills and knowledge on vehicle repair, enabling them to become self-employed and contribute to the local economy.

The training program was conducted by experienced instructors from Assam Rifles, who imparted hands-on training on various aspects of vehicle repair, including engine maintenance, brake systems and electrical systems to the 15 youths from the area.

The workshop is part of Assam Rifles' ongoing efforts to promote socio-economic development in the region and empower local youth to become self-sufficient, concluded the IGAR (S) statement.
