AMSU's academic campaign continues

Imphal, August 10 2026: As part of the month-long Regeneration Month observance commemorating the 61st Chaklam Khongchat, All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) organised a mobilisation campaign at Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School, Uripok on Monday.

Addressing students, AMSU secretary general Salam Changkhonba spoke on the history of AMSU and said the present generation must remember the courage and sacrifice of forefathers.

He stressed the need to introspect and uphold collective responsibility to protect identity and future, stating that it is time to regenerate thoughts and actions.

Similar academic campaigns were also conducted today at TG Higher Secondary School in Imphal West; Innovative School, Maheikol Kids Foundation, Bishnupur Public School, Thokchom Ibotombi Institution of Teacher Education and Training, Loyola, Stanford Photon School and Royal Education Centre in Bishunpur; and Eureka Academy Thounaojam, Elang-Keinya High School Elangkhanpokpi.

Langmeidong Higher Secondary School and Smart Universal Academy Sekmai) ing Khunou in Kakching district, among others.
