71 Bn CRPF organises blood donation and health camp at Kwakta

As part of the celebrations marking the 87th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the 71 Battalion of the CRPF organised a blood donation and health camp at INA Memorial School, Kwakta in Bishnupur district on Monday.
According to a release issued by the 71 Bn CRPF, the camp was organised in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RMS), Imphal.
During the event, as many as 46 personnel from 71 Bn CRPF voluntarily donated blood to support medical needs in the region and help save lives.
The health witnessed a large turnout of civilians from Kwakta town who availed the health camp services.
Free medical check-ups were carried out by the Unit Medical Officer and various medicines were distributed to the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant of 71 Bn CRPF, Pramod Kumar Singh, expressed gratitude to the medical team from RIMS Hospital for their cooperation and technical support in organising the camp.
He also appreciated the donors for their participation in the noble initiative and highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.
The medical team from RIMS Hospital, Imphal, including Dr E Shashi Bhusan Rao, SR (Camp Leader), and Dr Gaiduanreiliu, PGT, along with Khekato Aye (2IC), Werilo Lasuh, A/C, Avijit Dutta, A/C, Jayan Viswanath (A/C) and Shibu Malik assisted in the medical camp, making the event a success.
