Lilong United Club marks foundation day with felicitation of students

Thoubal, September 08 2025: The Lilong United Club (LUC) celebrated its first foundation day today at Lilong Haoreibi Multipurpose Hall, marking one year since its establishment.

The event also featured the felicitation of meritorious students from the area.

The event was attended by DC Thoubal Hannah Kahrnei; Addl SP (Ops) N Suraj; Lilong Haoreibi College principal Prof Md Sattar Shah; Mufti Md Sabir Shah Qasmi; Nazem-e Talimaat Darul Yatama Lilong Ipham; Wayel Kati editor Hemantakumar Ningombam; Thoubal District Kabaddi Association secretary Md Ayub Ali alias Oja Sanatomba and Lilong United Club convenor Sazad Bhuiyamayu as presidium members.

Speaking at the occasion, Lilong United Club convenor Sazad Bhuiyamayu stated that the club was formed by uniting various organisations of Lilong with the aim of fighting external threats, tackling anti-social elements, and addressing internal issues prevailing among local bodies.
