Imphal, June 07 2026:
Residents of Kiyamgei staged a sit-in protest today condemning the recent bomb attack at Badul Hauque's residence.
According to sources, unknown miscreants hurled a grenade at Hauque's residence in Kiyamgei Muslim Leikai around 1.15 am on June 6, 2026 .
The blast partially damaged the house's wall, windows, and cars parked in the courtyard.
Addressing the protest, Kh Moshin decried the act of branding Badul Hauque and Atikur Rahman as drug traffickers and using bombs to intimidate them.
If credible evidence of wrongdoing exists, both will surrender, he asserted, adding that levelling baseless charges is unjust.
Moshin urged authorities to make any evidence public and pursue legal action, not threats.
He also appealed against further defamation of the families and warned against planting bombs in residential areas to instil fear.
