Imphal, June 06 2026:
The Registrar, Manipur Medical Council (MMC), has appealed to all Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) to renew their registration every five years, noting that many have not complied despite repeated reminders after expiry.
In a release, the Council warned that names of RMPs who fail to renew within one year from the date of validity will be struck off the register.
As a one-time relaxation, RMPs with lapsed registrations may renew within one month from the date of the notification upon payment of prescribed late fees and fines.
For renewal, RMPs must earn 30 credit points or hours through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes such as conferences, CMEs, workshops, seminars, or similar activities during the preceding five-year period.
