Imphal, April 06 2026: The Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) has strongly condemned the outrageous bomb blast that rocked Manipur University, a premier educational institution in the State.

As per a release issued by FESOK, the explosion occurred at approximately 7 pm on April 4 near die gate of Type V, Block 8 in the University Quarters- a residential area housing faculty members, women, and children.

FESOK stated that this act has created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among the students and teaching staff.

The student body also expressed grave concern over such life-threatening incidents occurring within a high-level educational institution and appealed for an end to such acts of violence in the future.
