Langsai Thouna marks 3rd foundation day

Thoubal, July 03 2026: Langsai Thouna, a voluntary organisation formed in Kakching in the wake of the May 3, 2023 violence in Manipur, celebrated its third foundation day on Thursday.

The observance was led by the organisation's convenor, Kshetri Rajiv, and began with the offering of fruits and flowers to the deity Ibudhou Khamlangba at Kakching Khullen and at Kakching Wairi.

Speaking in connection with the celebration, convenor Kshetri Rajiv said Langsai Thouna was established during the unrest in 2023 with the objective of protecting the territorial integrity of Manipur.

He said that organisation has since continued to work for the welfare of the people while expanding its activities to address emerging environmental and social challenges.
