Pari Inat Silloi Sintam Shang inaugurated

Imphal, September 01 2026: Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata on August 2 8 inaugurated "Pari Inat Silloi Sintam Shang", a degree-level institute for dance andmusic, at Panthou Eeshaikol Nung, Selloi Lamaiching in Imphal East district.

The institute is affiliated to Manipur University of Culture and established under Ima Leishen Inat Loishang.

Speaking on the occasion, Th Satyabrata said mere desire to preserve culture is not enough without translating thought into action, and called for collective efforts.

He said culture plays a vital role in showcasing Manipur to the world and expressed concern over the present situation of the State.

Governing Body chairman Dr Th Munindro said the college will follow MUC syllabus along with traditional dance forms and music training, and expressed hope that it will become a full-fledged cultural centre.
