Thoubal, March 01 2026: Meitei Eikhoi Punsinsi (MEIPUN) extended financial assistance to the tune of Rs 10,000 to the family of Naorem Ongbi Madhabi and her bed-ridden son Naorem Inaocha at their home in Salungfam Maning Leikai, Thoubal.

Naorem Inaocha also has a young daughter.

He used to work as a daily wage earner but became mobility-impaired after suffering a fall from a tree a few years ago.

MEIPUN admin Bobo Khundrakpam along with senior members of the group including Rajendro Pangambam and Keke Wahengbam among others were part of the aid visit.

The team has urged people of Manipur to extend all possible help to similar families who have fallen on hard times.
