Candidates urge Government to declare pending results

Imphal, August 31 2026: Candidates of the 10th & 11th IRB and Manipur Rifles Jamadar recruitment, 2019, have urged the State Government and authorities concerned to declare their viva-voce results without further delay.

Speaking to media at Manipur Press Club today, candidate Robartson Chongtham said the recruitment process started from January 2019, written test was held in 2023 and viva-voce was completed in January 2025 .

He said Riflemen recruited through a simultaneous advertisement have completed training and have been assigned duties, while even after 7 years, results for 10 and 11 IRB and MR Jamadar posts have not been declared.

The successful candidates have met Ministers and MLAs concerned to urge early declaration of results but have received no positive response, he said.

He appealed to the Chief Minister and the Home Minister to declare the results within the month of September.
