MSFTI to hold workshop on film sound design

Imphal, August 27 2026: Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI), an institute under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur, will organise a 7-day intensive workshop on film sound design from September 3 to 9, 2026, at MSFTI Classroom Theatre, Palace Gate, Imphal.

The advanced professional master class will be conducted by Sukanta Majumdar, HOD, Department of Audio Recording and Sound Design, SRFTI, Kolkata.

MSFTI has been conducting short-term trainings, workshops and labs to impart basic as well as profound knowledge on various aspects of filmmaking to youths of the State.

Film sound design is considered the most important aspect of filmmaking and film production.

Interested persons having expertise in film sound design may contact the office of MSFTI from August 28 to September 2 during office hours for registration and further details.
