₹2.53 crore released for construction of 2 PHCs in Andro: MLA

Imphal, October 26 2024: Andro MLA Th Shyamkumar has said that the Centre has released Rs 2.53 crore for construction of two new Public Health Centres (PHC) in Andro assembly constituency and the same will be constructed one each at Yairipok Top Chingtha and Angtha.

MLA Th Shyamkumar disclosed this at the literary cum cultural meet and foundation day celebration of Moirangpurel Panam higher secondary school.

Addressing the gathering, Th Shyamkumar said the new arts and science blocks for Moirangpurel Panam higher secondary school will be inaugurated in December this year and the new blocks would be functional from the next academic session.

The MLA also informed that Panam higher secondary school will be a complete school once the two new blocks are inaugurated and utilised, and added that preparations have been made for the upgrade of Poiroukhongjil high school to higher secondary school.

The event was also attended by Tumukhong Moirangpurel GP pradhan N Biken, Yambem GP pradhan in-charge Sanabam Shyam, Top Chingtha GP pradhan Senjam Deban, Changamdabi GP pradhan Md Insran, Tulihal FP pradhan K Sobha, Angtha GP pradhan Th Manihal, Changamdabi ZP member Md Yunus and Tulihal ZP member Maibam Sabitri.
